First review
This was my first time visiting Chamberlain's Steakhouse, and I was very excited. I went with two other friends. I recommend that if you go, make a reservation. My friend made ours for 6:30pm, and I'm glad she did. It wasn't too crowed, but by 7:15pm, there was a line for those that did not have one.

When you walk in immediately to your right there is the hostess stand; straight ahead is the bar; and on both sides of the bar are two separate dinning rooms. The waiter that we had seemed to be abrupt and not very attentive. He had some knowledge of the menu, but when asked about certain items, like what kind of pasta the restaurant had, he could not remember. The room was moderately loud, but not so much that it was bothersome.

We were served with starter bread with garlic butter, very good, but if you're on a date, you might think twice about putting the butter on your bread. My friend and I both ordered the prime rib (rare), which came with garlic mashed potatoes. Our other companion ordered the spicy veggie pasta, creamed spinach and a side of mashed potatoes. All the food came out at the same time time. The plates came out very hot, however, the mashed potatoes were cold. My friend compared the prime rib to Houston's Restaurant (right across the parking lot), and mentioned that she preferred the prime rib at Houston's better, that it melted in your mouth. The one at Chamberlains was a little under seasoned. The spicy pasta was okay. It did come with a kick.

Like I mentioned earlier, our waiter was not very attentive. It wasn't till the end of our meal that another waiter came over and proceeded crumbing the table. He saw that I was taking notes and asked me what I was doing. I mentioned to him that I was writing a review of the restaurant. He said he hoped it was all good, and I just gave him this look. It wasn't until I mentioned the review that he became more responsive to our table. Unfortunately, by that time we were already finished with our meal. I was disappointed with this first time visit, but I am willing to give it another shot.
