Thrilling 3 hour adventure over Lake Travis! If you are a thrill-seeker, I highly recommend this adventure. The staff at Lake Travis Zipline Adventures does a great job of training participants how to zip. There are a total of 5 ziplines. The first two zips are of shorter length... these allow you to overcome your fears and learn how the zipline responds and what it feels like when you come to a stop. The final 3 zips range from 1800' to 2400' in length. Supposedly the final zipline is the longest zipline in Texas and the 2nd longest in the USA.

There are a couple of short, but steep hikes between ziplines so you must be in reasonably good shape to go on this adventure. Lake Travis Zipline has plenty of water stops available between ziplines. They also have snacks available at the end of the day although we missed out on that since we were on one of the final tours of the year and supplies had run out.

Their property is on the shore of Lake Travis. They provide a bunch of places to relax, play games, and picnic prior to your adventure. Plenty of hammocks, ring toss games, and even a beach for swimming should the water levels in the lake ever come back up. They also offer a "moonlight" zipline adventure if you're feeling especially bold.

This really was a lot of fun and I highly recommend going... EVEN if you think that you're scared of heights.
